I know with all the wienering and so on, sometimes things can get a bit negative around here, so I wanted to share a nice story with you.
Tonight at rehearsal, my brass band played Aerosmith's Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. Also, NZ hip-hop 'artist' Scribe's Not Many.* No wait! That wasn't the heart-warming story, it was just a horrible reminder that there are some things brass bands should never play, even when they are trying to "stay relevant." (The Aerosmith one was arranged by someone I used to date - I always thought he was a little gay.)
The heart-warming story is about a Valentine's Day gesture.
A friend of mine, who lives with his partner, awoke to find the bed empty and the partner already in the shower. Thinking she'd forgotten about The Day of Love, he rolled over and went back to sleep. When she came back from the shower she still didn't mention Valentine's Day. Miffed, he decided that he would go and have his own shower. He went into the bathroom, pulled aside the curtain, and there it was...
...written in hair.
And that, friends, is romance. Happy late Valentine's Day.
*How many tuba sections you know roll like this? Uh uh. Uh uh. I don't know anybody.

That...I...ah...I can't decide if that's cute or gross! Written in the condensation on the mirror would be cute, but in hair? Maybe not so much!
I am about to be really rude.
That is a lot of pubic hair.
Was it hair out of the drain, or did she use some fresh stuff?! Ha ha.
Different, definitely :)
This is when you know you are perhaps too comfortable in a relationship.
Also: Awwwwwwwww how sweet...
Gross. Love is blech.
Holly - I think it's kind of cute AND gross.
Vanilla - Head hair! Head hair! Her hair is really long. Sheesh, you people. Always thinking the worst.
green ink - Fresh, I hope.
Joff - hey, it could've been worse. Ask Vanilla.
ow1 - Yes! Sometimes love is more blech that often. Like this time.
