My friend's husband works for a Kiwi company in the USA, and his (Kiwi) boss asked a(n American) job interviewee, "When was the last time you were offended?" Due to the accent, the girl being interviewed misheard and replied, "Did you just ask when was the last time I was fingered?" She didn't get the job.

PS I said "Feliz Navidad" to my Spanish-speaking patient the other day (she had a Spanish interpreter) and she almost crapped her pants.
