Backson

Hi everyone! I'm away for the weekend because Christchurch can't sit still (new slogan: Christchurch: Ants in the Pants), but will return on Monday with new blogging adventures.

Today in the Mall I saw a mad person singing along, loudly and off-key, to the mall music. "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell," they roared. Uhhhh.

If singing narration/explanation out loud became a social norm it would ease so many embarrassing situations, though! The ones where you can't explain yourself aloud because normally there isn't the opportunity.

"I've just realised that the shop I'm looking for is in the opposite directiooon so I must turn aroound"

"I thought you were someone else! I didn't want to wave to yoooou, though I'm sure you're quite niiice"

Etc. Maybe we should all follow this woman's example! Maybe we'd all be a little freer.

SueAnn - Yes! I do, but usually only in the shower. Or the car. I am a terrible car radio roarer.

Claire - I LOVE that concept. "Iiiii just missed the bus, but I'm trying to appear nonchalaaaaant"
